Tesla Roadster - a first mover experience!

December 22nd, 2009

Maybe some of you have wondered what is the strange reference in the LinKS holiday greetings about Teslas.

Has to do with our executive coach Ulrik Schiøtz who happened to run into 2 of these racing cars during COP15. With his usual first energy Ulrik persuaded the 2 drivers to pick up LinKS Alumni from Børsen where we gathered that day.

Tesla Roaster

What a feeling! Hurrah for green technology but also a smart business model of presenting cool racingcars to the luxury market and then in 2012 selling stationcars to the rest of the families. Well done - I am happy to remember that we gaev the Tesla the INDEX design award.

New Book by Corporate Strategy Guru Prof. C.K. Prahalad

April 8th, 2008

Prof. C.K. Prahalad is known as the world’s leading guru in corporate strategy and mr. Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid.

“The New Age of Innovation - Driving Co-Created Value through Global Networks” is the title of the professors’ new book which has just been released.

We strongly recommend the book which is at the heart of this year’s theme at LinKS of orchestrating networks and driving value through open alliances.

Mette Laursen met prof. Prahalad for the first time at an SEI Conference at the Wharton School in 2007, hosted by SEI and Prof. Yoram (Jerry) Wind. It is a special honor for us to welcome him for LinKS Prelude at The Danish Broadcasting Collaboration (DR-Byen) on May 27. LinKS Prelude is the top executive kick off for the OECD Seminar on Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship, designed by FORA at the Danish Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs in collaboration with LinKS.

The Club House - under construction!

June 22nd, 2007

In LinKS, the LinKS alumni group have started an initiative of creating a new club concept for leaders, opinionmakers, innovators and great people: Meeting with a Purpose - the third place.

We designed this project as a true innovation process. We work in cycles and full prototypes - the first one will fly in October.

The LinKS alumni group is represented by executives from Wonderful Copenhagen, e-Types, C4-World, Georg Jensen, Arkitema and Copenhagen Capacity and now we welcome The International Club of Copenhagen, directed by the bridgebuilder, Hasse Ferrold. ICC is a club of executives, diplomats and spearheads from the Danish and international society. We welcome the distinguished ICC and do look forward to work on the future based on our collective intelligence.

The confusion about what the new initiative should be called have been solved in the most positive and constructive way, resulting in a coorporation with the already longtime established International Club of Copenhagen and we confirm that the name Copenhagen International Club will not be used in relation to the club house project to avoid confusion.

Grand Reception June 18, 2007

June 20th, 2007

On this beautiful day, we celebrated LinKS 40/60 and 2.0 partnership. This conversation between Mette Laursen & Lars Kolind (in Danish) is a very informal way of meeting LinKS. We thought: Why not share LinKS in a festive fashion with a twist.

The conversation is about the meaning of LinKS, the future of LinKS and the key competencies: Sensing, Matching, Designing an Delivering. Enjoy some happy moments together with our wonderful guests on the terrasse.
